The subject was Comedy and there are three sections: the first is about theories of comedy and philosophy, and second is a roundup of recently funny things with a philosophical bent. Kieran also has this <a href=\"http:\/\/ideasofimperfection.blogspot.com\/2005\/06\/joyful-science.html\" target=\"\" title=\"Joyful Science\">post<\/a> on philosophical humor. It&#8217;s old but good.<\/p>\n<p>My inspiration for this Carnival: <a href=\"http:\/\/noahgreenstein.com\/wordpress\/?p=95\" rel=\"bookmark\" target=\"\" title=\"Birth of Comedy\">The Birth of Comedy out of the Suicide of Tragedy<\/a>.
