Welcome to noahgreenstein.com.  This is the homepage of the Noah Greenstein who grew up in from Dobbs Ferry, New York.  There are other Noah Greensteins, but I am not affiliated with them.  I suspect that they are unhappy with themselves for letting me get our domain namesake first.  I don't plan on relinquishing it, so sorry.
Sometimes I write philosophical treatises, though of low quality and limited interest.  I marvel when I recall that I went to school to write such things.  I taught myself how to make websites in my spare time and I have made much more money at that. However, my advisor at school once said that money is good for the nerves but won't make you happy, and, as usual, he was right.  So I am back to writing.

For more about what I write, click here or scrooooooooooooooooooooooooooll down.

I am a metaphysician and philosopher of science & language.  This may make it sound as if I do obscure and arcane things, which I assure you I do, but I like to do them in a way that allows me to extend to many areas of philosophy and beyond.

Recently I have been working on what could be described as the philosophy of relativity.  Relativity is primarily understood as a principle of physics but I believe that we have yet to fully appreciate all of its applications.  As I see it, relativity fundamentally comes down to our abilities, or lack thereof, to understand change. This leads to an understanding things that have not changed, i.e. have remained the same, and thence to an ontological conclusion.  Hopefully this isn't too much of a stretch.
